Due to the current economic conditions VISA in partnership with Global Check developed the ArcNet Program which was previously only available with the 48 Month Lease already mentioned. This was done to lower the costs and make ArcNet available to every business.
Global Check Services is a 15 Year Old Company that specializes in a variety of check processing services. Global Check is a long time member of both the National Automated Clearighouse Association (NACHA) and the Electronic Check Council (ECC). Global Check Systems is also a member of the National Check Network (NCN) which is a subsidiary of Electronic Clearing House, Inc (ECHO).
Over 120,000 Merchant Locations, Financial Institutions, ACH Processors, and more than 260 Collection Agencies rely on the National Check Network database to reduce their return check costs, increase their collection rates, and protect their merchants from fraud. NCN combines the data from its association of Members to provide the power of an incredibly effective positive and negative database nationwide.
Global Check Services is the processor for this VISA program since they are already in that business, VISA is in the financial services business, and provides the guarantee for ArcNet. Visa and Global are in direct partnership with this program.
Global Check is responsible for the processing which includes running all checks through the National Check Network (NCN) which holds information about every checking account and it's characteristics such as: transactions history, longevity, and good or bad past performance, to protect and assist merchants.
